Night Latch Smart Lock

Ordered for our entrance door, but my buddy said it gonna be better for our garden door, as a second entrance. Fingerprint reader is working excellent, I though it won't be so good, as I had before gate lock with fingerpint and it was a nightmare, we sent it back. So again this one is much much better. To install it was not really complicated. Works perfect with application. Survived after almost a week of rain and haven't got any problems with reader in such wet weather. Price is not cheap, but the quality is no doubt - excellent. Also I like the way it looks - very modern, almost like device from our nearest future😊 Recommend it.

The unit itself is quite large but I’m guessing that’s to house the internal battery. Several different ways of entry including fingerprint ID, smartphone etc. You do get standard keys also just in case. Quite simple to set up/ replace old lock following instructions. From a price perspective not really had much to compare with but I suppose technology costs nowadays so reasonably priced.

You can tell this is a premium product by it's packaging, and this is real luxury. It is a terrific lock to add an extra layer of security. My daughters have just moved into a rented house and the set and share smartphone entry is ideal for if me or their Grandparents are visiting, so we don't need a spare key but they can allow us access when we arrive. It comes with a terrific 2 year warranty which is really good. And their app is really easy to install and is free. The installation video is short and sweet, really to the point and helpful. It looks really smart and is waterproof, which is very useful in the UK. So far so good, would recommend.

A bit chunky and sticking out to my liking- perhaps to accommodate the battery ( running on a CR123A battery ) Easy to install, ie: to replace existing lock. It can do finger print, app and tag entry. The spare keys would be the last resort if need be. And you do need to get a separate bridge in order to link to the smart devices. Slightly pricey for Prime at under £140 with voucher.

My daughter tested this as she had Yale lock on door so was simple to replace.I recommend watching video in listing as instructions are not super clear but once she had my daughter said was pretty simple to fit and works well.Has numerous ways to enter and great for her as she was forever misplace keys and be frantic search before leave house.Took a little getting used to as now has large handle protrude rather than flat lock but working well.

I'd order this for myself but wasn't happy with the size of the fingerprint reader, it was too bulky for the door I wanted to fit it to, I would have continually walked into it but it hasn't gone to waste as I've given it to a relative. They've installed it on a garden outhouse and are very pleased with the overall functionality and look. They had no issues attaching it and it's compatible with their standard Yale lock on the outhouse. Works well with the app, fingerprint scanner and can be overridden with the keys in the box. It's been up nearly a month now and coping well with rain, so I can confirm that it's waterproof.

This arrives in a beautifully designed tube shaped box measuring approx diameter 11cm x 20cm high. If you planned to gift this, it would be fairly easy to wrap (& will fit in a larger bottle bag) & make a good gift for a new home or to give someone who is concerned about emergency access in case of an accident peace of mind. The lock inside is cushioned in molded foam so it arrives in perfect condition ready for install. You get the fingerprint lock, which fits in place of the barrel of a standard lock, 2 regular style keys (so this could be fitted to an older persons house who prefers a key so they feel confident they can get in & out, with the spare key kept outside the home for emergencies), 2 proximity fobs. To set up your account, you need an email address or a mobile number & you can download the app from the Google Play store or the Apple Store by searching for TTlock. You need the app to set it up & to add fingerprints to the lock (the person you are adding will need to be with the lock so they can add their fingerprint to it), to activate the 2 proximity fobs which can be permanent or time limited & to admin the lock. You can also use the app to create & send e-keys (the person you are sending it to will need to download the app to do this) as permanent, one time only, limited time or recurring. If you have an older relative who lives alone, these are a brilliant addition to their home. It can be set to permit emergency access to someone else by the app holder if they may have had a fall & need medical services to get access without you having to drive half way across the country, on recurring to permit cleaner/carer access without someone having to get to the door or be in & that access can be withdrawn by the app admin at any time, so no worries about someone who has been sacked getting back in with an unreturned key. It's useful for busy families full of kids who aren't sensible enough to remember their key when they go out, or to lose it when they did bring it. It's just basically better than a key all round, but if you do get a power cut or failure to the lock (it can be recharged directly for emergency access in a power failure), you can just use the key. This has been installed & set up so that carers can have access to a lady who wants to retain her independence without worrying about being trapped in the house with the only way for someone to get in to break down the door. It gives her confidence & peace of mind, as it does the people who look out for her & saves her having to get all the way to the door to let family in to visit. I'm really impressed with this lock & think they are a really fantastic upgrade to a regular style lock.
