This is a Power over Ethernet (PoE) variant of the G3, connecting via RJ45 Ethernet to a PoE switch (10/100M network rate, supports IEEE 802.3 and 802.11 b/g/n). The key distinction is that it draws both data and power from the Ethernet cable (via PoE), eliminating the need for a separate wall outlet—though it has a Type-C USB backup (DC 5V/500mA). Same size as G3 (70mm x 70mm x 26mm, ABS). It's suited for professional or commercial installations where cabling simplifies power management and enhances reliability over wireless options. This gateway is powered from any USB power supply by TYPE C wire or by POE link. All gateway models support AES 128-bit encryption, indicator lights for status, and a max range of about 5 metres to the lock. They integrate with TTLock's cloud for records and sharing but don't include cables or adapters. Choices depend on your network setup—wireless for flexibility, wired/PoE for stability, Matter for cross-platform smart home use.
