FAQ

A: We would like to counter-question some of your experiences with your own door locks. Do you remember a time when you forgot your keys and was locked out of your home? What happens when you arrive home late and depend on someone (parents/maid) in the house to open the door for you? Do you wake them up? You invited your best friends/family members to your house, but you were running late, and they are already at your gate. Wouldn’t it be nice if they can enter your home instead of waiting aimlessly outside? Have any of your belongings been scratched/damaged through keys in the same bag/pocket? If you have experienced the above scenarios, it may be time you installed an electronic door lock. With an electronic door lock, you will be able to open your gates without using keys (fingerprint/RFID tag/pin codes and even your smartphone).
As the Simpled digital locks run on batteries, they will work regardless of a power trip or blackout.
Simpled locks come with an imaginary PIN code feature that allows you to enter other digits before/after your actual PIN. This is optional but will help to deter hackers and prevent your PIN code from being exposed. Also, with the security lockout mode, it is even more difficult to guess your PIN code.
For security purposes, our physical keys are designed unique to your lock ID, and we do not have spares of their respective physical keys. We recommend keeping a key with a trusted family member from the first day. The lock can still be unlocked via other means based on your lock model, i.e. smartphone unlock, fingerprints, pin codes, etc
The user manual is available at Support > Downloads from our website
All product(s) sold by simpled.tech or our authorised dealers come with a 24-month local warranty to the original purchaser Valid from the date of purchase

Simpled, a London-based company, rolling out an expanding range of innovative household devices to simplify and elevate the smart home experience.
Delivery within the UK typically takes 2-3 working days.
It's TTlock app. You can find it on both Google Play and App Store.
It will be connected to the lock via Bluetooth. So it's ideally around 5 meters direct line of sight. However, the maximum communication range will vary depending on obstacles (person, metal, wall, etc.) or electromagnetic environment.
Normally, this smart lock doesn't come with a gateway. You need to add that to the basket. It's good to know that Without Gateway, you can still: See who access the lock with their smartphone Share keys with your family, friends, maid or dog walker Open your lock using your smartphone or smartwatch Limit other's access or even delete theirs With Gateway, you will be able to: Open your lock from anywhere Remotely read the lock records log, including fingerprint, tags, password. Use it with your Alexa or Google Home.
1. Choose the new lock on the app. 2. Tap on "Setting" 3. Select "Import from another lock" 4. Choose your old lock from the list. There we go!
Not on all smartphones. Some are using encrypted NFC, and it won't be compatible with the lock. In some regions, people can pair transportation cards on their phones with the Simpled smart locks. In some other countries, it's not possible.
Not necessarily. You can use the passage mode feature for a specific time! In that period, the automatic-lock feature will be disabled. You can still manually lock it with a long-press #.
Sure, you can. You can share admin access with a trusted family, friend, employee. Or you can just share limited access!
That's the point. It's for easier access of the people inside. You trust them. Don't you? Even if you don't, there's a pin code that should be announced after a command, and that's what not everyone has!
Sure, it's designed to help you manage your property more conveniently thanks to features like passcodes, eKeys, and even Fingerprint for extended stays! We also have a web application with all the necessary features for managing a property remotely!
Some contactless cards from some banks are compatible. For example, Lloyds Bank, Tesco Bank cards can be registered on Simpled Locks.
Can I use the same contactless fob(/phone tag) to unlock them both? Sure. Simpled Tags can be programmed on all Simpled smart locks.
You can find the operation records (log) in the main interface.
You need to complete the unlock verification using any method; then, passage mode will take effect.
Auto-Lock allows you to set a time duration for the device to automatically lock after being unlocked.
Please check if the door opening direction settings are correct.

Absolutely first-class service from Simpled. I ordered a lock, and it was delivered the very next day. I carried out an installation of the lock the same day, and followed the guidelines and extremely easy-to-follow videos produced by Simpled. Installation was very easy on my multi-lock door. Setting up with the TT Lock app was […]

Sales enquiry by telephone was most helpful and provided the information I needed to make a decision on purchase and selection of the correct equipment. Installation was simple and could have been quicker but I was taking my time to get it right. I spent an hour installing and programming in total, but next time […]

“

I bought a simpled lock early 2022, I’ve been delighted with it for the past 2 years. It’s easy to install, decent batteries lasted me 1 year, what a great product. The tech really is excellent. Unfortunately it failed late 2024, I called the helpline, who advised they could send the replacement parts out to […]

“

Great products & great service! We love the keypad locks we purchased for two of our AirBnBs in our converted church! One of them stopped working and as it was still 1 week within the 2 year warranty, they honoured it and sent a brand new part the next day! Thank you so much :)
