Automated Email Status

Overview
The Automated Email Status tab provides you with a detailed overview of the access instructions that have been sent from your account. It is useful for troubleshooting issues like “Why am I or my guests not receiving access instruction emails?” You can track the status of each email to ensure it was sent correctly.

How to Access the Automated Email Status Tab

  1. Navigate to the Tab:
    • Click on the Advanced tab at the top of the portal.
    • Select Automated Emails.
    • From the left-hand side, choose the Automated Email Status tab.

Understanding the Status Page

This page will show you a list with various columns to help you track the emails:

  1. Notifiable:
    • The guest or user intended to receive the email.
  2. Status:
    • Delivered: The email was successfully delivered.
    • Pending: The email has been scheduled but has not been sent yet.
    • Failed: There was an error preventing the email from being sent.
  3. Time Frame:
    • The time you selected to schedule the email, like 1 – 7 days before start time12 hours before start time, or 4 hours before start time (as set in the Guest Message Times tab).
  4. Deliver At:
    • The time when the email was scheduled to be sent.
  5. Delivered At:
    • The actual time the email was delivered.
  6. Created At:
    • The time when the original email request was created.

Automated Email Status Meanings

  • Pending:
    The message is scheduled, but hasn’t been sent yet. You’ll also see the Timeframe and Deliver At date listed.
  • Delivered:
    The email has been successfully sent. The Delivered At column will show the time it was delivered.
  • Enqueued:
    This status appears if you have an active integration. It means the email is ready to be sent but is in the queue. A message should never be in this status for more than a minute. If you see this, refresh the page to check if it changes to Pending or Delivered.
